1970's Semi-Detatched House Renovation

Our latest project was very interesting because it allowed us to completely modernise a typical 1970's Dublin Semi-Detatched house - upgrading the interior and providing a spacious extension to the rear of the property.
The Planning Permission had already been obtained but our clients wanted the freedom to tweak their design, while staying within the overall terms of the permission.

The redesign of the house interior was even more spectacular. We re-shaped and opened up the kitchen area into an open-plan, bright and airy living space:

Thermal Performance In Buildings

We've just completed this month's blog entry - on Thermal Performance in Buildings.
Most people don't consider this important factor of any building or house extension project, and automatically assume that modern building materials can give a large measure of protection from the elements.
Our finding is that it's both important to choose the building materials wisely, and also to make sure you are constructing with the highest possible Thermal Performance in mind.

The Project took less than 4 months to complete, and we are very excited about it. We conquered many things in on a tricky site, with existing multi-level buildings, and a re-design of the entire drainage system.
